　　The gene therapy drug GP801 injection of Nanjing Gritpharma Co., Ltd. is a micro-circular DNA biological drug of recombinant human stromal cell-derived factor (SDF-1), which belongs to Class 1 of therapeutic biological products not listed at home and abroad. The encoded target protein is SDF-1 1 a natural chemokine, which can recruit endogenous stem cells, induce angiogenesis, improve tissue ischemic perfusion and wound repair by binding to the CXCR4 receptor. Both in vivo and in vitro tests showed that this product was effective, and in animal models, local intramuscular injection of GP801 could significantly increase the vascular density of ischemic sites with good safety. The potential uses of the project include lower limb ischemia, wound repair, bone tissue repair, tooth extraction wound repair, knee cartilage tissue regeneration repair, beauty anti-wrinkle, etc., the company is also in continuous development.

　　Dr. Douglas Losordo, the trial's principal investigator and director of the Feinberg Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, said critical limb ischemia is a devastating disease for which there are currently no FDA-approved treatments.
